Celebrating Connections: Grand Ave Arts All Access

On Saturday, October 21, join Metro Art and our Grand Ave neighbors for Grand Ave Arts All Access. L.A.’s home for world class arts and culture opens its doors with architecture tours, art exhibitions, musical performances, food and more!
11 am, 1pm and 3pm
Grand Av Arts/Bunker Hill Station art tour
Join Metro Art for an underground tour of the rail station which features large-scale artworks by Ann Hamilton, Pearl C. Hsiung and Mungo Thomson. Stroll through the concourse and enjoy works by Samira Yamin, temporarily on view. Tours include insights about the artworks, artists and art-making processes. Tours start at the Metro Art booth on the station plaza level at S Hope and W 2nd Streets.

Metro Art Bus
The Metro Art Bus brings art to the streets, Metro riders and passersby in a unique and unexpected way. Metro Art’s rider portrait series and exhibition, We Are… Portraits of Metro Riders by Local Artists, is a bright and uplifting mobile gallery that honors the personal stories of Metro riders. Look for the Metro Art Bus along Grand Ave!

Grab a digital memento of your art-filled day by snapping a photo with family and friends and having it sent directly to you.
Getting there
Public transportation:
Two Metro stations take you right into the heart of the action. The A and E lines serve the newly opened Grand Av Arts/Bunker Hill station, and the B and D lines serve the Civic Center/Grand Park station at Hill and 1st Streets. Numerous bus lines also serve the area. Use the LA Metro Trip Planner for routes and schedules.
