Art on TAP

Art on TAP cards are Metro’s smallest artworks that fit inside pockets and accompany transit riders on their journeys.

The artworks featured on Art on TAP are part of a series of rider portraits commissioned by Metro Art that evoke intimate and universal stories of riders who use LA’s vital transit system.

A set of 3 limited edition Art on TAP cards featuring works by Cat Ferraz, José M. Loza and Kristina Ambriz are now available at Metro Customer Centers and TAP vending machines (TVMs) at the stations listed below. Cards are $2 plus the cost of fare and available while supplies last.

The portraits are also viewable on the Metro Art Bus, digital displays at each of the A Line (Blue) stations and the Union Station Passageway Art Gallery, as part of the multi-site exhibition We Are…Portraits of Metro Riders by Local Artists.
