Artist Constance Mallinson’s work embodies the idea of the Metro system by reaching out to different segments of the community— the bouquet’s central flower is surrounded by Asian Lillies, African Amarylis, American Beauty Rose, Korean Azaleas Mexican Zinnias and Poppies.

CONSTANCE MALLINSON has exhibited her artwork widely, at venues such as The Oakland Museum, Torrance Art Museum, Japanese American National Museum, Los Angeles Municipal Gallery, Palm Springs Desert Museum, and the Downey Museum of Art. Her work is included in collections such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, National Academy of Sciences, San Jose Museum of Art, Newport Harbor Art Museum and the Pomona College Museum of Art among others. Mallinson has received numerous awards including a National Endowment for the Arts Artist Fellowship, City of Los Angeles Artist Grant and a Djerassi Foundation Residency Award.
