Metro Los Angeles Service Alerts & Resources

  • Metro Reduced Fare Programs for Wildfire Victims: Metro’s reduced fare programs are now available to assist wildfire victims in their recovery and mobility needs.
  • Wildfire Response Application: This application will enroll you in a reduced fare program offering free unlimited rides for 90 days and an additional 20 free rides each month for three months. This pass is good on Metro and participating transit agencies. These benefits will expire 6 months after enrollment.
  • Metro Trip Planner: This tool allows users to plan their trips across the LA Metro system by entering start and destination points, times, and preferred transit options.
  • All Current Metro Los Angeles Alerts & Advisories: A real-time resource for updates on service disruptions, planned maintenance, and safety notices affecting Metro Los Angeles transit lines.
  • Metro Updates for High Winds: Provides information on how Metro is preparing its system and ensuring service continuity in response to high wind forecasts.
  • Metro Los Angeles Service Impacts Due to Wind and Wildfires: Provides specific information about how wind and wildfire conditions are affecting Metro transit services, including delays, route changes, and closures.
  • Our Customer Centers are open and available to you for any Metro-related support you may need. Our staff can help with trip planning, service updates, rider concerns and providing masks.
  • Face Masks: due to poor air quality from the fires, face masks are available on-board our buses and certain rail lines. Metro Ambassadors, Customer Centers, Transit Security Officers and Contract Security are distributing masks across the system.
