Metro Art Presents Play On!

About the Event

To celebrate the reopening of the much-loved (and always played) public piano at Union Station in Summer 2021 (July 19-July 23, 2021), Metro Art Presents curated a back-to-back week of virtual pop-up piano performances recorded live in the Waiting Room at Union Station and highlighting Los Angeles-based musicians Brandon Coleman, Jamael Dean, Inna Faliks, Donia Jarrar, and Jonathan Montes.

This programming is part of the Soundtrips series, a collection of transit-inspired sounds and stories to amplify your ride. Created in 2020 and 2021, three program series are compiled in easy-to-access playlists for Metro riders’ listening pleasure.
