    It All Starts With Water: Plein Air Art Making Workshop  with Metro Art commissioned artist Rigo 23

    Join Metro Art commissioned artist Rigo 23 at the Kuruvungna Village Springs  to learn about his artwork design for the future D Line Wilshire/Rodeo Station. The artwork is inspired by Tongva people and culture, past and present. Learn more about his artwork “Gathering of the Waters.”

    The artist will be joined by Bob Ramirez, President of the Gabrielino-Tongva Springs Foundation, who will lead a walking tour of the Kuruvungna Village Springs.

  • Metro Art Tours and Artist Poster Signings during Rare Books LA at Union Station

    Saturday, October 5, 10am-6pm & Sunday, October 6, 11am-4pm Metro Art will offer tours of the exhibition Where You Stand: Chinatown 1880 to 1939 你所處的位置: 唐人街 1880 年至 1939 年 in the Union Station Waiting Room Gallery. Tours will leave from the Metro Art table at 1pm and 2pm daily. Additionally, artists commissioned as part of the Through the Eyes of Artists program will sign free copies of artwork posters celebrating neighborhoods throughout LA County, which are typically exhibited onboard Metro bus and rail.
