Metro Art at LACMA Block Party & Art Parade
On Saturday, June 20, 2026, join Metro Art at LACMA’s Block Party & Art Parade, a large-scale public celebration marking the opening of the David Geffen Galleries. Metro bus and rail service bring visitors within steps of the festivities, and Metro Art will be right in the middle of the action with the Metro Art Bus stationed along Wilshire Boulevard in front of LACMA throughout the day. As LA’s arts connector, Metro Art invites visitors to discover art above and below ground through immersive experiences, public art tours and one of the largest public art collections in Los Angeles.

- 11 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM, & 4PM | Metro Art: Wilshire/Fairfax Station Tours
Tours will last approximately 20 minutes.
Getting There
Go Metro and see art along the way! The D Line now brings you directly to LACMA via Wilshire/Fairfax Station, located just steps from the museum and Block Party activities. Numerous Metro bus lines also serve the area. Use the LA Metro Trip Planner for routes and schedules.
