One Vision LA captures the rich tapestry of Los Angeles through photographic collage presenting six individuals from diverse geographic locales during their Metro commute. Imbued with symbolism, the work signifies the ethos of communal gathering and unity through the presentation of the doily, alongside resilience and optimism, characteristics embodied by the surrounding dragonflies, a common species in Los Angeles and the Western US.  

About the Artist

YRNEH BROWN (b. 1967, Kingston, Jamaica) is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice bridges art, social activism, and community engagement. His work explores issues affecting Africa and its Diaspora, including climate justice, health equity, and human rights. His acclaimed exhibition Visibly Invisible examined the persecution of people with albinism and led to advocacy presentations at the United Nations. Working across mixed media, performance, music, and social practice, Brown creates research-driven projects that connect historical narratives to contemporary social issues. A Fulbright Fellow and internationally exhibited artist, he continues to foster dialogue, cultural awareness, and social change through his interdisciplinary practice.
