Journeys by Bike: Community Ride from East Hollywood

Metro Art x Metro Bike Share present a community bike ride on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 10:30am-1pm. This multimodal ride celebrates Bike Month and will include walking, cycling, and riding Metro rail as a group.
Walk: The event will begin with a walking tour of Hollywood/Western Station, which features station artwork by May Sun.
Roll: Visitors will then ride by bike to East Hollywood, the neighborhood that inspired Ana Serrano’s artwork in the Journeys Continued… exhibition at Union Station. The exhibition weaves together decades of artists’ visions of neighborhoods across LA County – all accessible by Metro – and the ride connects two rail stations by bike!
Ride: After the bike ride, we will then return to Hollywood/Western Station from Union Station via the Metro B (Red) Line. Personal bikes welcome on the train!
