Five Veteran’s Stories
Eloy Torrez’s artwork will highlight the individuality of Veterans and their unique experiences. To create the artwork design, Torrez interviewed Veterans from the Greater Los Angeles area about their pre-military, military and post-military lives.
D Line Subway Extension
The D Line Subway Extension is a three-part rail project that begins at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue, extending westward for about 9 miles with seven new stations. The D Line Subway Extension Project, Section 1, opens May 8, 2026.
