Project Description
Puffing with Patties to Leimert Park is an animation featuring a mini, magical Afro-Cuban breakfast train as it travels through Downtown Los Angeles to Leimert Park. On its voyage to deliver locally made Jamaican beef patties to Stationmaster Fernando, the train passes iconic emblems of Leimert Park and surrounding neighborhoods, including an African drum circle in Leimert Plaza Park, Vision Theater, and a mural displaying a message of affirmation and inclusivity over the scene of Watts Towers.
