Project Description
Stained Glass Vignettes is an animated scroll of an imaginary “stained glass window” that merges Persian tile artifacts with visual elements sourced from surrounding neighborhoods along the K line. Inspired by the stained-glass exterior of the West Angeles Church of God, the artwork unfolds as a flowing mosaic merging cultures and references. Cypress and palm trees appear alongside geometric angles from the Vision Theatre, while the painted figures outside the Regency West take form as a Persian dancer within the mosaic.
